ABOUT THE ROLE

We are a paint protection film manufacturer based in Jurupa Valley, CA, and we are seeking an elite PPF Installation Trainer to serve as the technical authority between our products and the professionals who install them. This is one of the most important roles in the company. You will be responsible for developing and delivering structured installation training programs for new and existing customers, establishing our reputation for technical excellence from the very first interaction. Beyond training, you will be a direct contributor to our product development process — evaluating film performance in real installation conditions and providing the kind of hands-on technical feedback that can only come from someone who has done this work at the highest level. This is primarily an on-site position at our Jurupa Valley headquarters with expected 25% travel. We are looking for a seasoned PPF professional who is not only masterful at the craft but who also has the communication skills, patience, and professionalism to elevate others.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive PPF installation training programs for customers at all skill levels, from introductory to advanced

• Conduct hands-on training sessions at customer facilities throughout Southern California and at our Jurupa Valley headquarters

• Produce high-quality instructional materials including video content, written installation guides, and visual reference tools

• Serve as an ongoing technical resource for customers, providing coaching and support beyond initial training engagements

• Collaborate with the sales team to position training programs as a customer acquisition and retention asset

• Evaluate new PPF formulations and products through rigorous installation testing, delivering structured technical feedback to the R&D team

• Maintain current knowledge of industry best practices, installation standards, and competitive product developments

• Represent the brand with professionalism at trade shows, detailing expos, and industry events across the region

Requirements

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 3+ years of professional PPF installation experience at an expert level — this is a non-negotiable requirement. Vinyl installation experience is a plus

• Demonstrated experience in a training, instruction, or coaching capacity is strongly preferred

• Deep working knowledge of PPF products, tools, installation chemistry, and surface preparation techniques

• Familiarity with leading PPF brands and product lines is advantageous

• Exceptional communication skills — the ability to break down complex techniques and teach them effectively

• A genuine commitment to elevating installation standards and the professional reputation of the industry

• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 25%+ of the time

• Experience creating video or digital content for training or instructional purposes is a significant plus

• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation required
