Manager, Video

As a Manager on the Video Investment team, you will serve as a trusted advisor to client counterparts and internal team members. You will be recognized as a thought leader in the TV and Online Video (OLV) media space, helping guide the team through the negotiation, activation, and execution of client business initiatives.

This role requires expertise across all areas of media activation and the ability to apply media investment principles to client objectives. Managing the overall budget authorization process within Video Investment is a critical component of the position.

The ideal candidate is an effective communicator with proven leadership skills, capable of managing team members while collaborating closely with cross-functional partners, including Strategy, Analytics, and other key disciplines. Success in this role requires strong integration within the Hearts & Science client team and effective collaboration with partner agencies.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of TV and OLV media experience; OLV expertise must extend beyond FEP proficiency.
• Strong media and business acumen.
• Extensive knowledge of the media and marketing landscape, particularly within TV and OLV investment.
• Thorough understanding of media dynamics, including how channels perform independently and collectively within the broader media ecosystem.
• Solid understanding of Investment functions and Strategic Business Unit competencies.
• Understanding of the client's industry and business environment.
• Experience working with leading media activation and measurement platforms, including MediaOcean, Campaign Manager 360 (CM360), Display & Video 360 (DV360), Amazon DSP, Integral Ad Science (IAS), VideoAmp, and Innovid and/or Flashtalking.
• Strong proficiency in campaign trafficking, ad serving, programmatic buying, audience measurement, reporting, and media financial processes.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the development, implementation, negotiation, and maintenance of TV and OLV media plans.
• Manage TV and OLV budgets across brands, campaigns, vendors, and partners.
• Communicate account and team status updates to management in a professional manner appropriate for a senior-level team member.
• Support the development and growth of team members, including Senior Associates and Associates.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Manage client media-related issues, proactively developing solutions and resolving challenges.
• Interview candidates for junior-level positions.
• Lead relationships with key creative agencies, particularly for branded entertainment activations.
• Manage strategic vendor relationships.
• Represent and promote the interests of Hearts & Science internally and externally.
• Motivate, lead, train, and develop team members to achieve shared objectives.
• Meet regularly with media sales executives and industry representatives to identify opportunities aligned with client business goals and strengthen marketplace relationships.
• Stay informed on industry trends, trade publications, conferences, seminars, and current events that may impact clients or business performance.

$50,000 - $95,000

Omnicom's policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager.
