As a Virtual Sales Specialist, you take pride in representing Baxter and our products. The insights and feedback you share with your team and to cross-functional partners help validate and inform priorities and changes.

What You'll Be Doing

The Virtual Sales Specialist position is responsible for generating revenue within assigned territory by using digital selling techniques. This role will include extensive prospecting, lead qualification, and opportunity identification using digital tools and CRM functionality. Once engaged with a customer or prospect, the Virtual Sales Specialist will successfully understand key customer business issues and demonstrate how these issues can be solved and the outstanding benefits of solving them with Baxter CCS products and services.

  • Achievement of weekly, monthly, and quarterly objectives and assigned activities
  • Through continuous personal development, you will become a subject matter authority and act as an influencer and trusted advisor for your clients
  • Partner with account executives, area vice presidents, clinical consultants, sales engineers, solution architects, services personnel, corporate and strategic accounts, and product management to offer customers end to end solutions
  • Developing plans to address problem areas and prepare analysis / solution for new sales pursuits and conducting negotiations to finalize sales
  • Complete all administration aspects of the role including extensive work and updates in Salesforce.com

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of inside sales experience preferred
  • Preferred track record of success in meeting both customer needs, and corporate sale objectives; preferred b2b sales background
  • Must be highly motivated, energetic, and resourceful. Proven excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must be able to balance team/individual responsibilities and contribute to building a positive team culture
  • Ability to develop extensive understanding of the product portfolio within the business unit
  • Experience working with CRM-tools & MS-Office applications

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices.

The estimated pay range for this position is $60,000 to $82,500 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less within the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position is also eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP), which provides the opportunity to earn incentive compensation for achieving or exceeding your goals.
