The Saint Joseph's University Doctor of Physical Therapy Program is a part of the School of Health Professions. This is a full-time, tenure-track, 12-month position in the School of Health Professions and will carry an appointment at the rank of Associate or full Professor, to be determined following the conclusion of the search. The applicant should have expertise in the physical therapy management of people with neurological conditions. This position also holds a secondary appointment (with reduced teaching expectations) as Department Chair of the Department of Physical Therapy and reports to the Dean of the School of Health Professions. The applicant should have experience in higher education leadership roles. The individual will have teaching responsibilities within the physical therapy program and will provide effective leadership to the program faculty, staff, and students. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of six years of full-time higher education experience with a minimum of three years of full-time experience as a core faculty member in a CAPTE-accredited entry-level physical therapist education program commensurate with a faculty appointment at the rank of associate or full professor.
