Casual Patient Engagement Coordinator
Magee - Women's Hospital of UPMC is hiring a Casual Patient Engagement Coordinator to support the Womens Health Service Line.
This position will work daylight shifts and is remote. Weekend and holiday availability is optional to support the hours of operation.

Purpose: The Patient Engagement Coordinator will plan and execute activities including: Enhance patient communication, improve patient flow, identify barriers and address patient experience issues. Work collaboratively with leadership team. This person will coordinate care between departments to ease flow and remove barriers to timely care. Development of literature as needed to close gaps in care, educational needs and patient satisfaction. The Patient Engagement Coordinator works closely with all disciplines to provide the optimal patient experience through care coordination.
Responsibilities:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in healthcare administration, business development, communication or equivalent education required. Three to five years experience in healthcare, marketing, customer service preferred. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and oral communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines concurrently. Demonstrated leadership skills, initiative and ability to work independently. Ability to interface with all levels of management Good computer skills.
