Ideal candidate will be a Strategic VP of Information technology with the ability and proven track record to grow an IT division and take ownership. This person will need to have solid ERP and F / A experience with Sage. Sage is a must.

We are seeking a visionary and results-oriented Strategic Vice President of Information Technology who will take complete ownership of our technology landscape, ensuring IT functions as a primary driver of business growth and competitive advantage. This executive will be responsible for defining and executing a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with our overall business objectives, fosters a culture of accountability, and ensures robust, scalable, and secure operations. The ideal candidate will be a decisive leader with a proven track record of managing large-scale IT operations and digital transformation initiatives that deliver measurable value.

  • The VP of Information Technology will develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy that directly supports and accelerates the company's long-term goals and objectives. Own the technology roadmap, ensuring all IT initiatives deliver measurable business value and maintain pace with technological progress.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and strong personal ownership for projects and outcomes. Set clear expectations and performance metrics, providing guidance and support to ensure team success.
  • Manage the IT budget with fiscal responsibility, ensuring effective resource allocation and maximizing return on investment (ROI). Take ownership of vendor relationships and contract negotiations to secure optimal terms and service delivery.

Collaborate closely with other executive leaders and department heads to understand their technology needs, build consensus, and ensure seamless integration of IT solutions across the organization.

Requirements for the VP of Information Technology

  • Building relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.
  • 8-10 years as a VP of Information Technology
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage change and navigate a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Deep business acumen and an analytical mindset to connect technology solutions to strategic business outcomes.
  • Deep hands on experience including application of systems.
  • Extensive background with ERP Implementations
  • Extensive hands on experience with SAGE 300 - SAGE INTUIT is mandatory
  • Benchmark and make recommendations for the improvement of the IT infrastructure of IT systems.
  • As the Information Technology (IT) VP you must have 10 plus years having been responsible for managing and directing IT operations and providing leadership and technical advice to lead and grow the departments.
  • Evaluate company needs and requirements and strive to provide excellent client service by implementing quality service training for all IT staff
  • Spearhead multiple client service delivery teams in the active execution of engagements to help ensure compliance with firm and practice unit service delivery standards
  • Utilize technical and financial operation / transformation knowledge to identify complex client issues, broaden client relationships and develop a reputation as a thought leader
  • Must Lead and support business development activities such as identification, proposal development and other pursuit activities at clients
  • Assist advisory teams in solving complex strategic and tactical problems + Build long-term business relationships with key executives through engagement delivery and networking in professional organizations

    • Development and evolution of methodologies and intellectual capital including contributing to articles, whitepapers and training efforts
