RESPONSIBILITIES
Wait Help are responsible for reporting to store management and making sure all guests are well taken care of. The wait help position provides courteous and efficient guest service throughout the duration of the guest’s dining experience in the restaurant.
JOB FUNCTIONS
- ? Effectively handles assigned section by greeting guests, taking orders promptly, accurately inputting orders into the POS, processes guest checks and payments properly.
- ? Efficiently serves food to guest, refills drinks for guests, and busses tables promptly after guests leave.
- ? Is knowledgeable and can describe menu items, ongoing promotions and special menu items proficiently. Answers guest inquiries in a purposeful manner.
- ? Maintains a constant flow of communication with kitchen staff and informs guests of their order status.
- ? Prepare and serve beverages and desserts.
- ? Maintains a safe and sanitary work and guest area through constant cleaning, organizing, and replenishing of necessary items.
- ? Performs other duties as assigned by management.
