Warehouse Coordinator
Compensation: $17 - $20/hr DOE
Schedule: M- F , 7:00am to 3:30 pm
We're currently seeking a hardworking and dedicated individual with strong logistical and organizational skills to perform as Warehouse Coordinator for a medium distribution center relocating to the Houston area. The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for assiting in all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping & receiving, warehousing, forklift operation, picker/packer and customer relations. Must be proficient in the use of computer for warehousing products. Successful candidate must be responsible, dependable and capable of managing all warehouse operations independently when necessary
Responsibilities:
Self motivated and highly responsible.
Verify and inspect received goods for accuracy and quality
Record and update inventory records.
Pick, pack and ship orders
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
Operate forklift, pallet jack, hand truck and other warehouse equipment
Follow safety procedures and protocols
Oversee the loading and unloading of trucks.
Direct how and where deliveries are made.
Manage warehouse and handle customer inquires.
Tracking shipments
Accurately assemble orders and prepare goods for shipment by building pallets by box size, weight, and height
Complete shipping reports
Create shipping documents and enter shipment information
Use computer and perform data entry, as needed
Must be able to work independently
Responsible and dependable individual
Experience in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to submit to a background check and/or drug test
Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Required Education / Skills:
Prior experience in warehouse or distribution center
Abilit to use RF scanner
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to lift 20 lbs repetitively, up to 50 lbs
Good communication and organizational skills
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Forklift training (Stand-up) required / certification preferred
Proficient in use of computers for order and inventory tracking
Recent Shipping & Receiving experience is required
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $17.00 - $20.00 Per Hour
