Water Resources Client Team Leader / Senior Project Manager
Flux Resources is assisting one of our clients seeking an experienced Water Resources Client Team Leader / Senior Project Manager. The Water Resources Group continues to grow in technical expertise and is looking for someone who can market these skills to current and potential clients. Typical Water Resource projects may include surface and stormwater management, hydrologic / hydraulic analyses in support of culvert / bridge design, scour analyses, floodplain modeling, and permitting. Riparian restoration design and fish passage design are also part of the scope. The primary focus for this position will be to grow our Puget Sound Water Resources Market and lead Water Resource projects. The responsibilities for this role will be diverse and will include participating in both business development activities and project management. Office locations include Seattle, Bellevue, Tacoma, Olympia, and Woodinville.
Client Team Leader responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :
- Responsible for the full relationship and overall client experience of clients in the Water Resources market
- Develop significant new business, lead client teams and cross-business unit selling, assess client technology trends, and perform client sales forecasting
- Manage the overall client experience and build, maintain, and deepen the client relationships
- Monitor project manager performance on their client's projects
- Conduct client experience surveys
- Coach project managers on client expectations and provide feedback on project manager and delivery team performance, including removing underperforming project managers or staff
- Engage in project recovery and supports collections as needed
- Identify and pursue Water Resource-specific project opportunities
- Make go / no-go decisions and determine pursuit staffing and teaming partners
- Responsible for client profitability, favorable contract terms, revenue forecasting, and the client sales result
