Adjust production plans based on changes in demand, production capabilities, and supply chain disruptions. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure open communication and address any issues promptly. Evaluate supplier performance, conduct supplier audits, and drive continuous improvement in supplier capabilities. Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions. Stay informed about market trends, supplier capabilities, and geopolitical factors that may impact the supply chain. Utilize data and analytics to assess the efficiency of procurement processes, identify cost-saving opportunities, and improve overall supply chain performance. Generate reports and present key performance indicators related to procurement and planning activities. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies in all procurement and planning activities. Stay informed about changes in regulations that may impact supply chain. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement and planning processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement best practices. Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Proven experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and production planning within a manufacturing environment. Strong negotiation skills and a demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships. Proficiency in using ERP systems and other relevant planning tools. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards.

As a Material Buyer / Planner, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of materials and resources for efficient production. This hybrid role involves procurement responsibilities, strategic sourcing and production planning to optimize inventory levels and meet production goals.
