Key Responsibilities
Perform welding operations safely and efficiently
Weld using Fluxcore 3/32 or Solid Wire .045 or .052
Read and interpret weld symbols and blueprints (required)
Follow WPS, drawings, and established standards
Set up and adjust welding equipment (wire feed speed, voltage, etc.)
Inspect welds for quality and dimensional accuracy
Operate forklifts and overhead cranes
Qualifications
2+ years of welding experience (structural weldments preferred)
Experience welding to AWS D1.1 standards preferred
Demonstrated ability to weld material ½-inch thick or greater
Strong knowledge of weld symbols and basic blueprint reading (required)
Experience with pre-heats and stack welding preferred
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand and work on feet throughout shift
Comfortable operating cranes and forklifts
