We are seeking a high-energy TIG-MIG Welder with strong experience in stainless steel fabrication who will lend themselves as a valuable team player to our customer-focused fabrication department. The systems you fabricate ship to real plants and run for yearspetitive LA pay. $28–$34/hr depending on experience, with room to grow as your skills do.A team that takes pride in the work and a shop that keeps its tools and standards sharp.What You'll DoBuild projects end to end - cutting, welding, polishing, and pipefitting - as directed by the floor supervisorRead and interpret blueprints and drawings to nail the exact welding requirementsRun MIG and TIG on stainless-steel components - pipe, frames, and tanks, to specFabricate and weld stainless-steel tanks and vessels - rolling, fitting, seaming, and welding leak-tight assembliesOperate fabrication equipment (shear, roller, brake/bender, chop saw) and support machine operatorsFit and weld to ISO, OSHA, and applicable QA welding standardsFollow, help create, and maintain Welding Procedure SpecificationsKeep your area clean, your equipment cared for, and your work safe and to standardLift and move raw materials and finished product, manually or by hoist (up to 50 lbs)Prep finished product for shipment and travel for installations and field work as neededPitch in where the team needs itWhat You'll Bring3+ years of professional welding and fabrication experienceStrong hands-on TIG and MIG stainless-steel fabrication experienceExperience building stainless tanks/vessels (rolling, fitting, and welding leak-tight seams)Ability to fit and weld - both, wellPipe fitting experienceAdvanced read on shop mechanics and blueprintsSharp eye for flaws, steady hand-eye coordination, and the strength/stamina the job takesSolid grasp of shop safety proceduresAble to lift/carry up to 50 lbsAssociate degree or AWS certification a plus (not required - we care that you can do the work) Before You ApplyThe interview includes a practical skills test.
