What You Will Do
Prepare surfaces and fit parts for welding
Cut, grind, drill, and weld metal to blueprint specifications
Fit, tack, and weld sheet metal and structural components
Use plasma cutters or torches to cut structural and sheet metal as needed
Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum frames and enclosures
Weld in all positions and angles
Inspect welds for quality and accuracy
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
What We Are Looking For
Two to four years of Flux Core and MIG welding experience
Ability to weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
Strong mechanical aptitude and fabrication skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
Comfort welding in all positions
Reliable, safety focused, and team oriented
Pay and Schedule
Pay range : $20 to $25 per hour , depending on experience
Full time position
Overtime available as needed
Pre Employment Requirements
Valid driver's license
Background check
Clear driving record
Drug and alcohol screening
Work Environment
Work is performed in a manufacturing and fabrication shop environment. Physical demands include standing for extended periods, lifting, grinding, and working with metal materials.
