Position Summary / Job Duties :

UW Madison Professor and her spouse are seeking help with home routine and organizing tasks (mostly cleaning, laundry, taking care of our cat, kitchen tasks, occasional organizing) and seasonal outdoor cleanup (collecting leaves and tree branches, sweeping the porch / driveway, etc.) for the spring semester.

The commitment for this position of a home helper is one 3-hour visit per week at $96 per 3 hours (before taxes; about $88 after taxes). We are in Middleton on the bus line, but travel is easier if you have a car. If you see the ad, you can still apply.

Qualifications :

Affiliation with UW-Madison is not required, but you will need to fill out standard onboarding federal tax forms to be on the payroll.

We are looking for someone who :

(a) can follow instructions on the to-do list well,

(b) is reliable (needs to cancel or reschedule rarely such as once every 2 months or less frequently), responsible, and friendly,

(c) has an interest or past experience in similar positions (experience is not required to get the position).

Physical Demands

Mobility and physical strength to handle objects required for home and pet care.
