Step into Your New Role

As a  Construction Field Inspector , you will perform general construction inspection tasks to verify compliance standards codes, and ordinances, zoning regulations, as well as contract plans, specifications, and special provisions. The projects are primarily for environmental land repurposing projects, including grading, trenching, foundations, access roads, and utility interconnections.  This position is available in Beaumont, Texas.

Responsibilities :

• Inspects and monitors construction sites and the various work activities on these sites to verify adherence to standards, codes, and specifications.
• Prepares daily reports documenting inspections and other relevant project information.
• Verifies lines and grades of project improvements.
• Coordinate and perform field testing of materials associated with inspection as required.
• Implement quantity calculations for pay estimates.
• Performs analytical calculations such as basic earthwork, grading, profiles, and special staking procedures.
• Communicates verbally and in writing with contractor, owner, and project stakeholders as directed.
