We are seeking a driven Construction Inspector to oversee the daily activities of construction projects from start to finish. Based in our Pittsburgh office, the ideal candidate will have experience with technically focused projects, including water and wastewater treatment facilities, storm and sanitary sewers, waterlines, and both asphalt and concrete construction

We provide services for transportation, water, architecture, and energy infrastructure projects. Our years of experience allow us to guide contractors in constructive ways, expedite decisions in the field, promote project savings, and timely completion for the benefit of our clients.

What You'll Do :

As the Construction Inspector, you will perform the following duties :

• Performing Resident Representative duties, including full-time on-site inspection for both short-term and long-term assignments.
• Assist in administering the terms of the construction contract, including processing submittals and managing RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and schedules.
• Documenting construction progress in accordance with the contract specifications, including detailed field reports and logs of RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Maintaining accurate project documentation, including permits, specifications, and contractor pay requests.
• Acting as a liaison between contractors, design professionals, and clients, ensuring clear communication and resolution of issues as they arise.
• Coordinating with regulatory agencies, consultants, and clients to secure necessary approvals and permits.
