The Rochester Knighthawks are seeking a Dance Team Coach in Rochester, NY.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee the Rochester Knighthawks Dance Team to ensure they create an engaging and entertaining atmosphere at Knighthawks games and events
- Design, choreograph, and teach dance routines for in-game performances, promotional appearances, and community events.
- Mentor and provide constructive feedback to performers on choreography, techniques, and presentation.
- Plan, coordinate, and lead team practices.
- Maintain a professional and upbeat demeaner while representing the Knighthawks brand.
- Collaborate with game entertainment staff, marketing, and community relations teams to align performances with organizational goals.
- Manage scheduling, attendance, and performance standards for all team members.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and organizational policies during practices and performances.
- Assist with costume coordination, music selection, and overall creative direction for performances.

Compensation at Seneca is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The range of this position in other geographic locations may differ. The projected compensation range for this position is below. The estimate displayed represents the typical range for this position and is just one component of our total compensation package for employees.
