Summary :
Provides oversight to Radiology Services. Provides department budget development, implementation and monitoring; oversees the capital equipment requests and project implementation process; oversees the timely resolution of staffing and labor issues; promotes quality and safety.

Description :
1. Collaborates on space, design and construction planning and oversees planning for use of space, equipment and patient schedule modifications during construction periods. 2. Facilitates project implementation by communication to ensure appropriate budgeting and planning of projects. Evaluates and selects Capital Equipment in collaboration with key stakeholders. 3. Provides guidance and support for patient scheduling and facilitates communication for ensuring proper working condition of equipment, imaging and radiology related information technology products. 4. Participates in contract development related to research initiatives and reviews invoices associated with contracts to ensure proper billing. 5. Leads in planning, implementing, analyzing, improving and maintaining systems, procedures and processes. 6. Evaluates new technology and clinical knowledge to improve operational efficiency and fiscal impact. 7. Works with Radiology schools to train new practitioners and identifies new educational needs. 8. Performs other related duties as assigned.
