This is a shared role for couples who have been legally married for at least two years. Both spouses should be aged 27 or older. Only three dependent children may reside in the student home. Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus, with no alcohol consumption while on duty. Limited pet options : only fish and one dog of approved breeds are permitted. Valid U.S. driver's license and the ability to become certified to drive student home vans. Couples must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services, without proselytizing. High school diploma or GED required. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Demonstrated integrity is essential, as all staff serve as role models for students. Both spouses need to complete individual employment applications.

Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, the school is fully endowed, ensuring that both students and staff have the necessary resources to thrive.
MHS is currently seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents. As flex houseparents, you will reside in on-campus student homes, guiding and nurturing a group of approximately 8-12 students. You will play a vital role in creating a family-like environment for students, with responsibilities including driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting. Initially, you will cover various student homes before being assigned to a specific home.
Benefits
- Competitive salary of $44,768 per person, totaling approximately $165,000 per couple, including free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and additional perks.

- Relocation assistance and paid training are provided.
- Enjoy a schedule of nine days on, followed by three days off, which includes personal time while students are at school.
