Activities Assistant with healthcare facility experience

Wage : $17-$19 / hr DOE

Lakeside Special Care , a Generations Healthcare facility is in search of an Activities Assistant to join our team.
Job Description :
The primary role of the Activities Assistant position is to plan, coordinate and implement engaging, entertaining, and therapeutic activity programs to meet the residents' needs. Development and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual programs, in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by supervisors.
Essential Duties (include but are not limited to) :
- Delivery of Services and Programs for Resident Activities
- Resident / Family / Client / Guest / Staff Relations
- Assisting with weekly outings
- Assessments of new residents
- Activity Planning
- Regulatory Compliance
- Volunteer Management in absence of Supervisor
