📌 The company is seeking an energetic EHS professional and someone who wants to spend up to 30% of their day on the manufacturing floor infusing the safety culture 📌 Work for a Plant Manager who is 100% on board with a Behavioral Based Safety program;  you will have the support you need 📌 The landfill diversion is greater than 98% , leading the company's efforts 📌 Have bonus potential that has paid out at 100%+ over the last five years and a company that offers a stable product line  Successful, profitable manufacturing site in the Belton, Missouri area is seeking an EHS Manager tofocus on further development and improvement of the safety program and driving a safety oriented culture plantwide. As the EHS Manager, you will excel in coaching and mentoring your direct report and will oversee the site EHS program. You will report to the Plant Manager and will have the following responsibilities :

• Monitor, improve and regulate the safety, health and environmental policies and processes for the plant
• Keep updated documentation related to safety policies and regulations
• Monitor and track all safety training within the company LMS
• Perform regular site inspections and audits for safety, health and environmental compliance
• Lead accident investigations
• Support and initiate improvements related to safety and environmental
• Communicate with and serve as the point of contact for external regulatory agencies (OSHA, EPA, etc.)
• Lead BWC documentation and activities
• Show a presence on the manufacturing floor to drive the company's safety initiatives focused on Behavioral Based Safety Program
• Continue to decrease the site's recordables and lost time accidents
• Assign and monitor safety training and ensure timely completion
• Deliver monthly town hall meetings across all shifts
• Participate in plant continuous improvement initiatives
• Other duties as directed by management

The company is seeking a candidate who enjoys spending up to 30-40% of their day on the manufacturing floor, leading a safety oriented culture. Candidates should be able to hold others accountable and challenge their peers, be hands-on, lead by example, coach and mentor their staff and infuse energy and excitement into the safety programs of the plant. REQUIREMENTS for the EHS Manager :

1. Bachelor's degree, ideally in an EHS related field 2. At least two years of similar EHS management experience in a manufacturing environment

3. Strong safety background, with experience overseeing environmental functions as well 4. Experience being the point of contact for regulatory agencies (EPA, OSHA, etc.) 5. Experience performing safety audits 6. Experience overseeing the BWC process 7. Experience leading safety programs at sites of at least 100 people 8. Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel Skills preferred but NOT required :

1. Formal Lean and / or Six Sigma training or certifications 2. CSP or GSP certification 3. Experience with LMS (learning management systems)
