Join our dynamic team and elevate your career as an Entry-Level Millwright! In this role, you will have the opportunity to repair and maintain essential industrial equipment, including conveying systems and major machine centers such as debarkers, canters, gang saws, and edgers. We are looking for individuals who thrive in high-pressure situations and possess a keen attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities :
- Repair and maintain a variety of industrial equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints and printed instructions.
- Work safely under pressure as a self-starter.
- Understand the basics of aligning pumps, sheaves, sprockets, and machine centers.
- Use hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks to move machinery and equipment.
- Adjust tension on nuts and bolts to ensure proper specifications.
- Use tools to align machines and equipment accurately.
- Assemble and install equipment using hand and power tools.
- Lay out and drill mounting holes with precision.
- Replace defective machine parts and adjust alignments as needed.
- Level bedplates to establish centerlines using basic tools.
- Dismantle machines safely using hand tools.
- Attach moving parts and subassemblies effectively.
