Requires stooping, kneeling, crouching and / or crawling. Ability to work in a loud environment. Ability to work in small, cramped areas. Ability to work in elevated environment up to ten (10) feet. 12-hour dayshift, 6am - 6pm.
4 days on, 3 days off one week, and 3 days on, 4 days off the next
Job Summary :
The Operator is based at Bell and Howell’s remote service location and will report directly to the District Service Manager for that location. This position has overall responsibility for setting up and operating a variety of machines and / or equipment at customer site(s) in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
Job Responsibilities :
- Operates production equipment including but not limited to printers, binders, and trimmers.
- Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion.
- Ensures operational requirements are met in the set-up operation and the use of customer equipment and related product materials.
- Communicates with team and escalates issues when equipment is not working properly.
