Full Stack Java Senior Developer DevSecOps United Global Technologies (Columbia, SC)
Salary : $110,000$120,000 per year, based on performance. No subsidized or sponsorship available.
About the Role
This is a full?stack Java developer position that leverages a DevSecOps pipeline. Not a DevSecOps administrator.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, program, and implement complex application tasks and projects.
- Devise feasible, logical procedures to resolve business problems using computer resources.
- Formulate scope and objectives through research to develop or modify complex systems.
- Provide technical direction and support for business systems software and procedures.
- Design, code, test, and debug complex application programs.
- Provide 20% expertise on integration of applications across the business.
- Act as an internal consultant, advocate, mentor, and change agent providing expertise and technical guidance on complex projects (15%).
- Work closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to determine requirements and design quality technical solutions (15%).
- Provide design recommendations based on long?term IT organization strategy and new code reuse (15%).
- Conduct analysis, design, programming, and implementation on systems and procedures to solve complex business or scientific problems (15%).
- Develop programming and development standards (15%).
- Lead, plan, organize, and coordinate complex projects or phases of large projects (15%).
- Test designed programs, verify logic, debug, and write documentation (5%).
Required Skills and Abilities
Advanced understanding of applications / development, quality assurance, and integration methodologies; proficiency in programming languages, platform capabilities, and systems analysis and design. Strong analytical, decision?making, problem?solving, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
Software and Tools
Advanced knowledge of relevant operating systems, programming languages, and development tools.
Work Environment
Customer?focused, project?oriented programming environment, fast?paced, multi?platform, requiring 24x7 support to meet technical business needs.

Schedule & Location
Partial onsite 2 to 3 days per week preferred; remote candidates considered with expectation to work onsite when possible.
Background & Security
USA residency requirement for background screening. Candidates must have lived in the U.S. for at least three of the last five years. CMS security clearance may apply.
Compensation and Notes
Role will be contract-to-hire. Salary range $110k$120k. No sponsorship required. Include salary requirement on resume.
