Overview :
The E-Commerce Developer will join a fast paced team supporting SCHEELS.com by creating and maintaining internal web-based applications. This associate will work closely with all areas of the E-Commerce team to ensure requirements and that systems are implemented seamlessly. This position requires in-office attendance at our Fargo, ND Campus location, and is not eligible for remote work.
Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain core business web applications
- Diagnose and troubleshoot daily operations, programs and system problems
- A strong understanding of programming concepts and ability to adapt to multiple programming languages
- Execute project plans to complete the task on time, and revise as appropriate to meet changing requirements
- Design, create and document API calls to integrate with internal and external systems
- Excellent customer service and communication skills (written / verbal)
- Ability to be organized, detailed, and multi-task
- Strong initiative and vision for continuous improvement
- Excellent analytical skills; superior problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and with the team

Education & Experience :
The ideal candidate will have an associate’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Preference for candidates with demonstrated proficiency in PHP, Node.js, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML. Experience with agile / scrum methodologies is preferred.
Physical Requirements / Lifting Requirements :
Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push / pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation
