Job Title : IT Security Analyst – Junior
Contract Type : 3 months (with possible extensions)
Location : Columbus, OH (Hybrid – Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
Rate : $45 - $50 / hr
Work Authorization : W2 Only (Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; no sponsorship, C2C, or 1099)
Position Summary
We are seeking a Junior IT Security Analyst with development experience to support and enhance our identity governance environment. The ideal candidate will have a background in Java development, XML configuration, Beanshell scripting, and SQL, combined with knowledge of identity governance principles and APIs.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
3+ years of experience as a developer or in a technical role
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills for both business and technical audiences
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
Experience with :
Java Programming – OOP principles, debugging, rules / workflows, API integration
XML Configuration – Editing, structuring, and validating XML files
Beanshell Scripting – Writing and troubleshooting scripts for custom logic
SQL & Databases – Writing / optimizing queries, working with Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL
Identity Governance – Lifecycle management, access reviews, role-based access control
Web Services & APIs – REST and SOAP familiarity
Responsibilities
Assist in the design and development of enhancements for SailPoint based on business requirements
Develop and troubleshoot Beanshell scripts, workflows, and rules
Document technical processes and configurations for audits and internal use
Enhance the user experience in SailPoint through interface and process improvements
Collaborate with security and IT teams to resolve issues and deploy solutions
