Education Manager (CLE Programs & Committee Support) Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA)
Los Angeles, CA | Full-Time
CAALA is a nonprofit legal association that supports and advances the civil justice system in California. Through education, advocacy, and community, we provide resources for attorneys representing injured consumers.
We’re hiring an Education Manager to help lead the coordination of speakers and educational programming for CAALA’s CLE seminars, webinars, workshops, and major conferences—both in-person and virtual.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is highly organized, collaborative, and comfortable working with volunteer leadership, committees, speakers, and staff in a fast-moving professional environment.
What You’ll Do Recruit, coordinate, and support speakers for CLE programs
Partner with committees and leadership to develop timely, relevant educational content
Manage compliance with State Bar CLE accreditation requirements
Build and maintain a strong speaker pipeline aligned with CAALA’s values of professionalism and civility
Collaborate with the Meetings & Events team to integrate programming into major events
Collect feedback and continuously improve educational offerings
Who You Are You’re polished, dependable, and emotionally intelligent. You communicate clearly, manage multiple deadlines without dropping details, and know how to build strong relationships with volunteer leaders and internal teams.
We’re a modern, collaborative workplace—not overly formal—but we do take follow-through, professionalism, and respectful teamwork seriously.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required
3–5 years of experience in educational programming, CLE administration, or association work
Experience working with boards, committees, and volunteers strongly preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Flexibility for occasional evenings / weekends during major events
Experience with Asana, Canva, and PropFuel is a plus
