Informatics Program Manager

The Informatics Program Manager oversees the implementation and optimization of clinical informatics programs within the organization. They are responsible for coordinating project needs with various stakeholders, developing project plans, monitoring risks, tracking benefits realization, evaluating ROI and program outcomes. Additionally, they lead the development of system-wide informatics governance guidelines and collaborate with other departments for technology integration and informatics' process improvement. Reports to the Director of System Informatics.
Minimum Qualifications
Education : Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, healthcare administration, clinical or related discipline with an information technology focus required.
Licenses / Certifications : Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), Prosci Change Management or equivalent professional certification required.
Experience / Knowledge / Skills :
- Five (5) years of experience in program management, leading projects of a complex nature required.
- Demonstrated experience in healthcare operations, clinical governance structures, process improvement methodologies, and patient flow optimization strongly preferred.
- Strong program and project management skills, including the ability to prioritize, coordinate, and execute multiple workstreams across stakeholders.
- Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in data tracking, reporting and outcomes evaluation.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with experience using presentation and collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint, Visio) to create reports, visuals, and professional level content.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to work autonomously with strong task management skills.
Principal Accountabilities
