Position Summary
Leidos is seeking a Software Tool Manager to support the ACCA5JI Joint Interoperability Tactical Command and Control (JINTACCS) mission at the customer office in Langley, VA. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to manage and deploy the iSMART software toolset, supporting crucial research and implementation of Tactical Data Link (TDL) capabilities across Department of Defense (DoD) platforms and systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a background in military programs to ensure the effective deployment and utilization of mission-critical software.
Primary Responsibilities
Deploy, track, and manage the release of the iSMART toolset across the DoD, providing updated versions according to the government's determined schedule.
Serve as a subject matter expert on the iSMART process and tools during related meetings, providing recommendations, training, and process support to document system implementation data.
Gather and evaluate data to develop comprehensive background papers, staff studies, and presentations that describe implementation strategies, report on progress, and provide persuasive arguments for various audiences.
Integrate approved interface change proposals into the government-specified iSMART software tool.
Conduct research and gather information to prepare assigned materials, including background papers, staff studies, talking papers, and presentations, for government use.
Basic Qualifications
Education / Experience : Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology) with a minimum of 3 or more years of relevant experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

At Leidos, we don’t want someone who "fits the mold"—we want someone who melts it down and builds something better. This is a role for the restless, the over-caffeinated, the ones who ask, “what’s next?” before the dust settles on “what’s now.”
If you’re already scheming step 20 while everyone else is still debating step 2… good. You’ll fit right in.
Original Posting : October 28, 2025
For U.S. Positions : While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.
Pay Range :
Pay Range $67,600.00 - $122,200.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
