Responsibilities :
As a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist at CNS, you will play a pivotal role in transforming lives. Your key responsibilities will include :
- Patient Evaluations : Conduct initial evaluations to identify communication and cognitive issues, including types of conditions such as cognition, dysarthria, apraxia, language, dysfluency, dysphagia, etc., the causal and / or maintaining factors, and the severity of the disorders.
- Reporting and Communication : Maintain accurate records and reports. Consult with patients, insurance representatives, families, and therapists from various clinic disciplines to provide guidance and information. Communicate with outside ancillary services as needed.
- Program Management : Stay informed about all patient programs within the department. Instruct and supervise clinic aides and students, ensuring they complete daily treatment plans. Be available to provide advice or treatment at all times.
- Therapeutic Interventions : Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient's needs. These include Cognition Module, Attention Module, Auditory Rehabilitation Module, Echoic Store, Iconic Store, orientation, passive breathing, thermal stimulation, etc. and other specialized therapies to enhance patient outcomes.
- Collaboration and Teamwork : Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of innovative individualized treatment strategies.
