Job Summary The Misc Technical Data Modeler / Net Zero Program Analyst will support data-driven initiatives tied to ExxonMobil’s Net Zero strategy.
This role will focus on structuring, modeling, and analyzing technical and operational datasets to support emissions tracking, reporting, and optimization efforts across upstream and midstream operations.
Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain data models supporting Net Zero and emissions tracking initiatives Aggregate, cleanse, and structure large operational datasets from multiple sources Support emissions reporting, regulatory data tracking, and internal metrics Build and optimize datasets for analytics, dashboards, and decision-making tools Collaborate with engineering, operations, and regulatory teams to ensure data accuracy and usability Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for operational and emissions improvements Assist in development of standardized data frameworks and governance practices Support integration of field data (SCADA, operational systems, etc.) into centralized datasets Required Qualifications Experience in data modeling, data analysis, or technical data management Strong proficiency with data tools (SQL, Excel, Power BI, Python, or similar) Ability to work with large, complex datasets across multiple systems Experience supporting operational or engineering data environments Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration Preferred Qualifications Experience in oil & gas, energy, or industrial environments Familiarity with emissions tracking, ESG, or Net Zero initiatives Experience working with SCADA or field operational data systems Knowledge of data governance and data architecture best practices Experience supporting regulatory reporting or compliance datasets Additional Details Prefer Midland-based candidates Houston candidates must be able to work onsite at Spring Campus Travel to Midland required for Houston-based candidates (reimbursed via BCD) No per diem offered Office-based role (non-risk / low exposure) Meet & Greet required :
