POSITION PURPOSE :
The Manager, Region Parts provides a broad range of operational excellence support to the Parts department to include auditing, training, and reporting. This position will support the development, implementation, and execution of the company's operational excellence initiatives for Parts within the assigned business. Ensures all Briggs Industrial Solutions standards are adhered to and executed consistent with company direction.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES :
Partner with the General Manager to develop business plans, strategies, and programs to drive operational excellence and ongoing growth of parts revenue and marginProvide input on parts key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify gaps to create action plans, as neededMonitor parts performance and sales transactions with customers to ensure efficient delivery of parts and supplies through the shipping, receiving, and transferring of itemsSupport the hiring process for identified operational positions by interviewing and providing input on hiring recommendationsProvide parts training and direct feedback to team members to ensure they are retaining the required skills for ongoing development, growth, and successSupport the design and implementation of policies and procedures that will continually improve the company's operational performance, to include vendor products / systemsManage parts inventory within assigned business by conducting planned cycle counts, reconciling variances, and verifying proper input of dataAssist in efficient organization, cleanliness and storage of parts area layout while adhering to proper storage design principles, recycling / disposal, and securement of inventoryOversee the accurate placement of stock orders and timely return of excess / slow inventoryManage parts consignment programsPerform other related duties as assignedminimum qualifications
