Network Security Engineer – Lead Position

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage enterprise network security architecture in Washington, D.C.
  • Lead security architecture, policy implementation, and incident response.
  • Integrate security principles early into the development lifecycle (“shift left”).
  • Work with advanced controls such as Palo Alto Networks full stack, Cisco ISE for NAC, and secure hybrid AWS / Azure networking.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in network security engineering.
  • Comprehensive expertise across the security domain with hands‑on experience in Palo Alto Networks, Cisco ISE, AWS, and Azure.
  • Strong knowledge of incident response, security architecture, and policy implementation.
