Information about the Company : Cenveo is a leading North American manufacturer of envelopes.

Immediately hiring for 2nd shift Machine Packers for our envelope manufacturing facility in

Chicopee, MA

Machine Packer Pay / Schedule :

  • Pay starts at $16 / hr + 2nd shift premium $1 / hr
  • 2nd shift 3pm - 11pm ; Training is on 1st shift 7am 3pm
  • Schedule : Mon Fri; Sat required during busy season / business needs.

Machine Packer Responsibilities & Daily Duties :

  • Loads paper on to automatic hand-fed or web envelope folding machines; pack finished product.
  • Inspects quality of envelopes, labels cartons, reports variances to key personnel.
  • Checks current production orders / schedules to determine daily production requirements.
  • May be required to do rework on finished product; Cleans up work area during / end of shift.
  • Other duties as assigned / required.

    • Machine Packer Physical Requirements & Work Environment : -

  • Ability to keep up with a high-speed delivery output in a standing position for a full shift.
  • Mental alertness; Ability to step up / reach overhead / manually feed paper into machine.
  • Ability to lift up to 55 pounds; Manual dexterity required to grasp objects.
  • Exposure to arm / wrist fatigue; Exposure to noise, hazardous materials (inks, solvents, glue, etc.).
  • Must be able to work in hot or cold weather.

    Machine Packer Requirements / Qualifications :

  • The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 6 months of relevant work experience in a production environment.
  • Quality inspection skills and ability to measure / read a ruler.
  • Basic math, verbal / written communication, computer skills
