Your Role

The IT Support Specialist provides support to internal users of the Bank’s computer systems, resolving hardware and software issues. This position requires working on-site to assist with hardware installations, software upgrades, systems integrations, daily users support, and other IT-related issues. The IT Support Specialist utilizes their extensive knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft 365, Network administration, and office systems – along with strong problem-solving skills and high-level interpersonal skills – to provide fast and effective support and problem resolution for internal staff.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, telephone, and remote support to internal staff for hardware and software issues.
• Create, manage, and accurately document tickets and calls. Track and prioritize user requests and incidents, ensuring courteous, timely, and effective resolution.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems; liaise with vendors and other IT personnel and escalate complex issues as necessary for problem resolution.
• Communicate escalated issues to users : keeping them informed of progress, notifying them of impending changes, agreed outages, etc.
• Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools.
• Utilize solid understanding of patch management to deploy patches in a timely manner while considering business impact.
• Install, configure, and set up desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other hardware peripherals.
• Manage and monitor all installed computer systems and infrastructure.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of hardware and software configurations, user accounts, and resolved issues.
• Maintain an inventory of IT assets utilizing internal asset management tools, track equipment changes, and assist with procurement and disposal processes.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to remain in a stationary position and operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a multi-line telephone, copy machine, scanner, fax, and computer printer. Job Type : Full-time in person

Pay : $62,400 - $83,200
