Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct both routine and complex laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, and immunology-adhering to established protocols.
• Review results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with specimen collection and ensure proper sample preparation for testing as necessary.
• Maintain thorough documentation of procedures, mentor new staff or students, and contribute to the maintenance of high lab quality standards.
• Foster a safe, clean working environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree culminating in ASCP/AMT certification eligibility.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) certification required within one year of employment.
• Continuous maintenance of your certification during your employment.
