Associate Attorney - Civil Defense

A well established multi‐disciplinary regional law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2+ years of experience in insurance defense and general liability to join its collaborative and supportive team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants to continue developing strong litigation skills while working in an environment that prioritizes mentorship, professional growth, and long-term development.

Responsibilities:

• Handle general liabilty, professional liabilty, products and construction cases.

• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery

• Take and defend depositions

• Attend hearings, mediations, and court conferences

• Work closely with senior attorneys who provide hands-on guidance and mentorship

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in insurance defense and/or general liability

• Active bar license in good standing

• Strong legal writing, analytical, and communication skills

• Ability to manage cases independently with appropriate supervision
