Internal Medicine Physician

Job Title : Locum Physician - General Medicine in Houston, AR

Join our team as a General Medicine Provider in Houston, Arkansas, where you will play a vital role in performing Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for our nation's veterans. This position offers the flexibility of working from your own office or at a designated VES facility within a 50-mile radius of your home. With an ongoing need for medical professionals, this opportunity caters to various specialties, including family medicine, internal medicine, and orthopedic surgery.

Job Responsibilities :

• Conduct one-time, non-treatment Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams and separation health assessments.
• Perform interview-based evaluations alongside some physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• No prescribing or treatment of patients involved.
• Complete required documentation and reports, including addendums.
• Participate in quick credentialing and onboarding processes.
• Work the designated shifts, which may be half-day (4 hours) or full-day (8 hours).
• Engage in ongoing administrative responsibilities related to examinations.
