We are currently seeking a Advisory Consulting Managing Director - Banking: NY, NJ, CT to join our team in Hackensack, New Jersey (US-NJ), United States (US).

Our Banking and Financial Services Consulting practice combines business advisory consultants specializing in the banking and financial services industry with subject matter experts who have a deep understanding of existing and emerging technologies. This combination provides a breadth of services that power business transformation and reinvention. Our tailored approach ensures that each client’s unique challenges are addressed, delivering new levels of productivity and helping achieve maximum value.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize a business/advisory approach to navigate clients within the Banking and Financial Services sector to identify consulting opportunities, drive value proposition formulation and strategy, and develop strategic early-stage client conversations
• Leverage Financial Services Business subject matter expertise to engage with key client business leaders, discussing value-add offerings focused on delivering targeted business outcomes
• Partner with other consulting and technical solutions and delivery leads to drive the front-end of engagements, focusing on relationship continuity and expanding downstream opportunities
• Collaborate with Consulting and Financial Services Leadership on industry strategy, trends, go-to-market strategies, and opportunities to expand our market footprint

Basic Qualifications:

• 15 years of Banking/Financial Services consulting experience leading client engagements
• 5+ years of new business development experience, including success in expanding the footprint at targeted customers and developing relationships at the executive level
• Proven business development experience, including navigating client environments in a front-end, advisory capacity to recognize consulting opportunities, qualify these opportunities, and develop strategies to obtain them using a value-add, business outcome approach
• Ability to travel up to 50%

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this role is $240,500 – 480,000. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
