OVERVIEW
The Donations Processor II is tasked with softlines hanging and tagging, hardlines pricer and hardlines packer of donated goods to the area thrift stores to ensure the success of the SVdP mission. Employees at this level of the series perform with greater effectiveness, a variety of standardized processes under general supervision.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Softlines Hanger and Pricer :
- Conduct final quality check clothing for salability (style, wear, cleanliness (no rips, stains, missing buttons, loose threads, etc.)
- Price and prepare shoes, accessories and linens
- Maintain production quotas in one of several workstations (e.g., hang clothes on hangers, identify seasonal items for saving, price clothing, shoes, accessories and linens)
- Identify high quality clothing, shoes, and accessories for special handling
Hardlines Pricer and Packer :
Check household, electronics and other items for quality and salabilityPrice items (household, electronic and other items) based on quality and valueIdentify specialty or collectable items for special handlingMaintain production quotas in one of several hardlines workstations (e.g., electronics testing, pricing and packing)Carefully packing items to palletize and prepare for shipment to storesContinuous Improvement

Less than high school education or High School diploma or GED, entry levelOne (1) year of donations processing experienceSKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS
