Nice to meet you!
We’re the leader in data and AI. Through our software and services, we inspire customers around the world to transform data into intelligence – and questions into answers.
If you’re looking for a dynamic, fulfilling career with flexibility and a world-class employee experience, you’ll find it here. We’re recognized around the world for our inclusive, meaningful culture and innovative technologies by organizations like Fast Company, Forbes, Newsweek and more.
What you’ll do
Looking for *that* internship? The game-changing one that’ll help you learn, grow, and chart your path forward? You’ll find it at SAS. Our interns aren’t coffee runners – they do real, meaningful work. Our award-winning internship program is focused on development, culture, and community. We’ll help you grow professionally, find (or further) your passion, and make memorable connections that last beyond the summer.
The Documentation team is responsible for providing SAS customers with all the information that they need to be successful with our software. This content covers every aspect of the software lifecycle, from installation, to onboarding, to data management, to advanced analytics and visual reporting. Our users are interacting with our documentation in evolving patterns as Generative AI disrupts our industry. We’ve embarked on an ambitious program of modernization to respond to these changes.
As an intern, you might:
- Write documentation. Be assigned work items, interview subject matter experts, draft content, respond to reviews, and ultimately publish the final version to our customers.
- Participate in AI-powered innovation. Monitor industry trends, recommend and test ways in which SAS can leverage AI both to increase the efficiency of developing our content and to streamline the customer’s experience with using the content.
- Develop internal training materials. Part of our modernization push is to lower the barrier for content creation for non-expert writers. Working with our in-house experts, develop reference materials for these new tasks and processes.
- Contribute to multimedia (video, graphics, flowcharts, and so on) process improvement. Increasingly, users want their information in a format that suits their learning style. To modernize, we must enhance our multimedia output with improved tools and processes.
