Visual Studio Programmer-1

Our Commercial Operations division is seeking a detail‑oriented team member with strong skills in report development, data organization, and analytical problem‑solving. This role places a significant focus on building, maintaining, and enhancing operational reports using Microsoft Excel , including advanced formulas, pivot tables, data validation, and other tools that help transform raw data into clear, actionable insights.

Experience working with SQL Server is also important. The ideal candidate can write accurate and efficient queries, perform data extraction and validation, and work with Transact‑SQL (T‑SQL) to support reporting needs across the organization. Familiarity with Visual Studio and basic C# concepts is helpful for supporting existing internal tools, though this position is not centered on full application development.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with data, communicates clearly, and takes pride in producing reliable, well‑structured reports. A collaborative mindset, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new tools and processes will help the right candidate thrive in this role.

Job Responsibilities

• Analyzing underwriting operations; creating, integrating, and modifying programs to meet financial and operational objectives.
• Assisting in validating, testing and documenting the underwriting / quoting solution delivered.
• Works with business users to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• May conduct presentations to provide end users with knowledge to maximize their use of developed systems.
