Solutions Engineer

We're looking for a Solutions Engineer who brings together mechanical engineering expertise, machine vision know-how, and a passion for innovation. You'll collaborate with sales, delivery, and product teams to conceptualize, design, and present cutting-edge rail solutions to customers across North America.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being at the intersection of technology and customer engagement, and turning challenges into actionable solutions that drive real impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to define requirements and craft end-to-end rail engineering solutions.
• Lead pre-sales and solutioning activities including RFP / RFI responses, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept development.
• Apply expertise in machine vision, optical inspection, and mechanical systems to design next-gen detection and analytics platforms.
• Work with cross-functional teams (mechanical, automation, software, AI / ML) to develop integrated, field-ready solutions.
• Conduct feasibility studies, prototype validation, and performance testing.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-aligned value propositions for clients.
• Stay ahead of emerging trends in rail technology, automation, and vision analytics.
