Position Description :
The Quality Control Administrator supports and assists the Quality Control department with daily quality control and inspection tasks to ensure project delivery meets company standards and industry safety guidelines.
Position Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Construction administrative experience with strong communication skills.
- Driver’s License.
- Computer software skills including Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Excel, Word, Inertia Systems, AutoDesk, ProjectSight, Bluebeam and StruxHub
- Critical thinker with ability to multitask.
- Ability to read and understand third party inspector reports.
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritize.
Essential Duties :
Input and management of multiple inspection requests with supporting documentation into Inertia inspection tracking software.Continual interaction and communication with inspection agencies with respect to inspection requests and documentation.Continual interaction and communication with project staff with respect to inspection requests and documentation.Input of internal document management within various software systems.Assist Quality Control staff with management of daily reports for distribution to project team inspectors.Report directly to quality control managers of any document control related issues.Review and track and distribute third party / special inspector reports.Assist QC Manager with weekly QC meetings to ensure project compliance. Create and distribute the agenda and take meeting minutes for distribution to project members.Physical Work Classification & Demands :
Moderate Work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or up to 25 pounds of force frequently, and / or 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
The individual in this position will periodically walk, kneel, sit, crouch, reach, stoop, read / see, speak, push, pull, lift, stand, and finger / type. The frequency of each action varies by workflow and office activity.Walking - The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, boxes, cabinets, etc.Constantly operates a computer and other office machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, phone, computer, and computer printer.The person in this position frequently communicates with employees and external stakeholders regarding a variety of topics related to office administration.Constantly computes, analyzes, and conceptualizes mathematical calculations and formulas.The person in this position regularly sits in a stationary position in front of a computer screen.Constantly reads written communications and views mail submissions. Will also need to read blueprints and take / verify field measurements.Climbing – Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding and ramps at various heights.Balancing – Ability to maintain body equilibrium to prevent falling and to walk, stand or crouch.Stooping – Bending the body downward and forward by the spine at the waist.Visual acuity and ability to operate a vehicle as certified and appropriate.Occasionally exposed to high and low temperaturesFrequently exposed to noisy environments and outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind.Benefits :
