Numerator is looking for a talented and passionate Backend Python Engineer to join our team in our Chicago office. As part of our Insights backend team, you will be building new and improving existing services powering the Insights platform. This is a fast-paced role with high growth, visibility, impact, where many of the decisions for new projects will be driven by you and your team from inception through production. What Youll Be Doing

• Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable RESTful APIs and microservices using Python and modern frameworks to power the Numerator Insights platform.
• Manage and maintain the underlying cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS) for our platform, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security of all backend systems.
• Evaluate and implement new backend technologies, Python libraries, and architectural patterns to accelerate development and improve system efficiency and performance.
