Systems Engineer

Job Summary :

Our client is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their team! This position is located in Englewood, Colorado.

Duties :

• Manage and maintain the enterprise monitoring environment using Zabbix, ensuring visibility into device health, uptime, and connectivity across the organization
• Configure and optimize Zabbix agents, proxies, and rules to monitor up / down status, port activity, and overall system performance
• Develop and refine monitoring dashboards and alerting mechanisms to detect and resolve outages before they escalate into major incidents
• Integrate Zabbix monitoring with other enterprise systems and tools, such as Jira, for automated issue tracking and escalation workflows
• Utilize APIs and community strings to ensure accurate device registration and alignment within the monitoring system
• Troubleshoot connectivity and health issues across lab devices, servers, and PDUs to maintain a stable and resilient environment
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by refining monitoring methodologies, automating repetitive tasks, and documenting best practices

The approximate pay range for this position starting at $85,000-95,000 . Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
