BAYADA offers Direct Care Workers DCW : Washington East Pittsburgh Munhall Churchill Port Vue Glassport Monroeville Latrobe Fox Chapel and Clairton.

Availability needed for Mondays and Saturdays 9am to 9pm (Latrobe)!

Qualifications for Direct Care Workers DCW :

  • Successfully complete Direct Care Worker Course provided by BAYADA
  • BAYADA Home Health Care is offering a training program incorporating basic regulatory compliance and personal care skills for a Direct Care Worker DCW graduate to provide care for adults in our Assistive Care State Programs practice.

    • Job Responsibilities for Direct Care Workers DCW :

  • Activities of daily living
  • Light housekeeping
  • Bathing
  • Grooming
  • Toileting
  • Nail care
  • Range of motion / exercises
  • Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
  • Oral feeding
  • Vital sign checks : temperature pulse respiration
  • Home Management Tasks : laundry meal preparation bed making etc.
  • Assisting with ambulation
  • Medication assistance
