CNC Machine Operator/Setup

• SCHEDULE: Second Shift - 3:00PM TO 3:30AM - Monday – Friday OT available​
• Pay rate: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour based on experience

Top Skills Needed:

• Ability to set up and run CNC Lathe MachineKnowledge with proper use of measuring tools with tolerances of +.0005
• Able to read G code programs
• Previous Okuma experience is a plus

Primary Responsibilities

• Knowledge of the proper use of measuring tools/gauges and cutting tools, required
• At least 1 year of relevant experience
• Ability to identify and correctly utilize tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, and inserts
• Read blueprints and use precision measuring instrument including profilometers, dial indicators, depth gages, OD/ID micrometers, and groove micrometers
• Hold tight tolerances, often
• Works to a dispatch report and ensure that jobs are run in proper sequence
• Ensure proper machining of product to ensure products that can be sent to the next operation are within specification
• Produces good quality product that fully meets specifications

Education and Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED (Required)Knowledge of basic math, blueprints and routers, required.
• Knowledge of the proper use of measuring tools/gauges and cutting tools, required.
• At least 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Can demonstrate good work ethic (Important)
• Can demonstrates teamwork
