What role you will play in our team
The Installation Engineer will primarily assist the Project Manager in conducting on-site equipment installation planning, overseeing the installation and commissioning of chemical production equipment, and managing the whole-process quality and safety control of installation works. You will be a core force in ensuring the smooth commissioning and operation of the new production base, and play a key role in Tinci's North American business expansion.
What you will do
1. Responsible for the planning, implementation, supervision, and quality control of the installation and chemical production equipment in compliance with relevant laws, standards, and regulations in the United States.
2. Manage and supervise on-site installation progress, quality, and safety; formulate detailed installation schedules, allocate on-site resources reasonably, track the implementation of each installation process, and promptly handle technical problems and emergencies during the installation process to ensure the safety and health of on-site workers and the smooth progress of the project.
3. Prepare installation project budgets according to US project requirements and relevant industry standards; control installation engineering costs, accurately track and monitor project investment and financial status, and put forward cost-saving suggestions based on on-site actual conditions.
4. Audit installation drawings, equipment technical documents, material inspection reports, and installation process records to meet US technical standards and project requirements; cooperate with design teams, equipment suppliers, and subcontractors to optimize installation schemes and ensure the quality and reliability of installation works.
5. Participate in the acceptance work of installation sub-projects and the whole project; compile and sort out installation project files, including installation records, commissioning reports, acceptance documents, etc., to ensure the completeness and traceability of project data.
6. Provide technical guidance and training for on-site installation workers and follow-up operation teams; establish and improve on-site installation operation procedures and safety management systems to standardize installation operations.
About you
Skills and Qualifications
1. Majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
2. Familiar with U.S. industrial equipment installation specifications and standards , and familiar with the performance, installation methods, and maintenance requirements of common chemical production equipment and pipeline systems in the local area.
3. 2+ years of relevant work experience in on-site installation, commissioning, and supervision of industrial or chemical production equipment in the United States; experience in new energy battery material production equipment installation is preferred.
4. Proficient in using professional software such as AutoCAD , project management tools , and familiar with basic data analysis methods.
5. Possess strong on-site coordination and problem-solving abilities, be able to work under pressure, and have good communication and teamwork skills.
6. Hold relevant professional certifications is a plus; have the ability to obtain necessary on-site operation qualifications as required by the project.
7. Legal authorization to work in the United States ; have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel to different project sites in the United States as needed.
