Manager Position
Manager responsibilities include coordinating employee shifts, training, motivating team members and site inspections. This position plays a critical role in ensuring all staff stays on task and complete all assignments to ServiceMaster standards. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding and demonstration of cleaning principles and team management abilities. Learning all customer sites and working with member/team at sites. There will be a learning period prior to full duties are resumed.
Responsibilities include learning and training cleaners on ServiceMaster's standards, products, processes and procedures; overseeing staff performance and ensuring all assignments are completed in accordance to set task schedule; performing inspections and giving constructive performance feedback to staff members; able to discipline bad performance within company guidelines and procedures; assign shifts and make necessary adjustment in case of call off or no shows; respond to customer complaints and request in a timely and caring manner; ensure compliance with safety and OSHA regulations; fill in when needed for call offs, open positions; must be able to communicate in English. Bilingual is a plus.
Physical demands and qualifications include constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reaching; must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25lbs.; 2 years' supervisory experience of 10 or more people; references preferred; will provide on the job training to those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn. The ability to be flexible and work at a fast pace in a multi-tasked job is a must. Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude.
Compensation: $25.00 per hour.
